In the fall of 1999, while working in Clearwater,
Florida, I went diving in Grand
Cayman for a long weekend. As luck would have it, it was the
largest rainfall in 40 years. Despite water up to my doors of my rental car,
I found a shop brave enough to venture out in the storm. Awesome diving, and
home of the ‘greatest 10-foot dive in the world’: Stingray City.
