South AMERICA (back a level) Following the Sept 11, 2001 attacks and inevitable invasion of Afghanistan, my plan to visit the Middle East with my pal Brince Neidlinger was replaced with a trip to Peru & Ecuador. Highlights included the Galapagos Islands, Antigua and the famous Inca ruins of Maccu Piccu. In the fall of 2005, Sheila and I will explore South America by motorcycle, riding an estimated 50,000 km roundtrip from Vancouver to Argentina’s Tierra del Fuego.
