Lion and Ribs (Masai This remarkable 7am feast in the Masai Mara Game Reserve sounded exactly as it looks. While the tired female rested after it’s zebra kill, the male and it’s cubs feasted with gruesome efficiency. Looking for some privacy, the male dragged the massive zebra carcass away, with all 3 of his cubs lock-jawed onto the carcass and being dragged along for the ride. Later, as the male rested, the cubs enaged in a game of ‘chicken’ with a flock of vultures, who were content with the scraps. |
